Dragging an iron rake
The tractor wallows
Across the ocean of the paddock
With a fine excrement of gulls
In its wake.
It has two large paddle wheels,
A funnel, with smoke;
And the captain is on the bridge.
Having cast off a couple
Of moments ago,
He sets a course for the opposite hedge.
